Kachemak Complete July 9-13
Rock climb. Stand up Paddle. Hike to a glacier lake. Camp on the beach. It’s everything you need. It’s Kachemak Complete!
During this trip you will stretch your mind and your muscles doing things you have never done before. We will rock climb outdoors on Kachemak Crack (a 5.8 rout), the Salty Dawg (a 5.10 rout), and if you really want to send it to the extreme we will climb the Ya Snooze Ya Lose (a 5.11 route)! When we are not climbing we will be bouldering in a sea cave, bear viewing around the lagoon, camping on the beach, hiking to Grewingk Glacier Lake, learning about geology and ecology of the area and Stand Up Paddling in Kachemak Bay!
As on all HoWL trips, health, safety, teamwork and leadership development and fun are key elements to the success of the trip. Lessons on all of the above will enrich the expedition during teachable moments. HoWL instructors have all the experience they need to keep everyone safe and having fun!
