This Day Trip combines two awesome elements: Flag-making and Capture the Flag.
The first half of the trip we’ll be making wind flags HoWL-style for you to take home or string up at HoWL. We’ll have all the materials for you to add designs or words or whatever you want! Then as our homemade flags dry, we’ll head into the woods for yet another epic game of capture the flag! Bring your daypack, a snack, rain gear, warm clothes, a water bottle and mud boots.

As on all HoWL trips, health, safety, teamwork and leadership development and fun are key elements to the success of the trip. Lessons on all of the above will enrich the expedition during teachable moments. HoWL instructors have all the experience they need to keep everyone safe and having fun!
Please note your Client Responsibilities: 1) all clients will be required to follow the safety policies and procedures of HOWL and the guides’ instructions during activities. 2) All clients (and parents) will be required to sign a Participant Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement in favor HOWL before departing on any trip; and 3) each client (and their parents) agree and acknowledge when they sign up for HOWL activities that they have significant responsibilities for their own safety and they agree they are ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE for their own safety during participation in HOWL activities.
