Cold Weather Camping- Dec. 28-29
Friday and Saturday,December 28-29
Ages: 8-18
Come out and experience winter in a whole new way with animal tracking, fort building, capture the flag, campfire lighting, pocket knife use and safety demonstrations, wilderness awareness, hunting skills, and so much more! We will also go over all the gear needed to stay warm and dry in winter conditions at our gear check prior to leaving.
As on all HoWL trips, health, safety, teamwork and leadership development and fun are key elements to the success of the trip. Lessons on all of the above will enrich the outing during teachable moments. HoWL instructors of course have all the experience they need to keep everyone safe.
DiRtBaG scholarship funds are available for this expedition. Please refer to our SCHOLARSHIPS page for more information.
